Tip of the Day #54: Spider Prevention

Do you have spiders roaming your house? To prevent them, combine one cup vinegar, one cup pepper, a teaspoon of oil (like vegetable, olive, etc) and a teaspoon of dish soap. Pour into a spray bottle and spray along the outside frames of your door and windows. Remember to always refresh when it rains.

  1. This is the tip I have been telling everyone I know about since I read it on your fb page. I'm allergic to these little creatures, but I have a 16 month old in the house, so I don't want to spray a bunch of harse chemicals in the house. I can't tell you if it works yet, but after i have tried it for a while, I'll let you know how it works for me..

  2. I tried this in two different spray bottles and it will not spray out because the pepper is too thick and clogs the sprayer. I end up trying to poor little droplets around the windows and house but it came out to fast and just made brown puddles everywhere. I don't know it has worked at all because I just did it tonight. I wonder if anyone has any ideas on how to apply the stuff.
